Suppressors as well as rifles, pistols and lower receivers are all serialized/regulated items that must ship to an FFL. To purchase one of these items, you will need to check out as normal, but in the ship to address/information please use FFL information. If you do not have an FFL that you've used before, please contact your local gun shop prior to checkout to ensure that they can do a transfer. Suppressors specifically must be shipped to an FFL that is a Class 3 SOT. Please note that most FFL holders charge a transfer fee to do the paperwork. Once you have checked out, please email a copy of the FFL to PWS Customer Service. Please include your order number/confirmation email with the FFL to ensure our team can process the order as quickly as possible. We will ship all items to the FFL unless otherwise specified. My new hog slayer!!! Picked a MK2 up from Alpine in Forth Worth, slapped on a Vudu 1-10 and smoked 2 boars that night! I freakin' love this thing! I expected it to be heavier, I mostly shoot with arca on a tripod but walkin and stalkin with this was suprisingly easy. Can't wait to put some thermal on it!
No, I didnt take a star off because I've been literally waiting years for this rifle to finally come out. As soon PWS announced it was available, I had my LGS order a MK2 in. I'll cut to the chase, the trigger is disappointing. For a rifle over 2K I expect more than a milspec trigger. That said, I was going to put a geisselle SSA-E in it anyway. I was still able to pull off sub inch groups but it would be easier with a nicer trigger out of the box. That's really my only gripe with the mod 2 version. It groups better than other AR10s I've owned, even with my old AAC 762-SDN on it. The PWS comp is decent, pretty loud without a can mounted but I can't imagine running this unsuppressed very often. So far she loves 168 and 175 grain match ammo. I haven't tried cheap 150 gr but that crap never shoots well in my experience.
I have been eagerly anticipating the Gen 2 of the MK216 and it was sooo worth the wait. My old MK2 MOD 1 was accurate but a little finicky on ammo and a bit dated in the looks department... After the first few range trips I can say the MOD 2 MK2 is definitely accurate with a wider range of ammo. The Federal Gold Match 168gr did very well, with SIG OTM and Hornady ELD-X printing slightly looser groups but generally all 1 MOA and under. I was expecting the handguard to have the picatinny MLOK hybrid rail like the PWS MK1 MOD 2 uppers, but having the 7 sided handguard is a decent trade-off. The rifle is well balanced, but you may want to swap a PRS stock if you are going to do more PRS shooting with it. If not, this is still a great host for a holographic sight as is... hopefully they come out with shorter barrel uppers like a 12 inch, then you would have a very versatile 308 platform that beats the brakes off other AR10s.
