Primary Weapons Systems is a federally-licensed firearms manufacturer in Boise, Idaho (est. 2007). They produce AR-15 (MK1) and AR-10 (MK2) rifles, uppers, muzzle devices, suppressors, handguards, and buffer systems using in-house CNC machining.

What is the difference between the MK1 MOD 1-M and MOD 2-M?

MOD 1-M has a KeyMod (PicMod) handguard. MOD 2-M has M-LOK and a fully ambidextrous lower. Both use the PWS long-stroke piston with a 3-setting adjustable gas regulator.

How do I identify my PWS model?

MOD 0: quad-rail (pre-mid-2015). MOD 1: KeyMod with forward assist. MOD 1-P: updated KeyMod (2016). MOD 2-M: M-LOK with ambi controls. Model and serial are on the lower receiver.

What calibers does PWS offer?

MK1: .223 Wylde, .300 BLK, 7.62x39. MK2: .308 Win / 7.62 NATO, 6.5 Creedmoor. PCC: 9mm.

What does the PWS long-stroke piston system do?

It cycles the bolt carrier via a full-length operating rod and gas piston, keeping carbon and heat out of the receiver. The 3-setting gas regulator supports standard, suppressed, and adverse-condition use.

What buffer weight should I use with a PWS upper?

H2 buffers are recommended. A standard carbine buffer can cause over-gassing. Use the H2 Enhanced Buffer (4.4 oz) for standard use or H2 Suppressor Weight Buffer (4.5 oz) for suppressed fire.

What is the difference between PWS buffer tubes?

Enhanced Buffer Tube: 6-position for stocks or braces. Pistol Buffer Tube: fixed-length for AR pistols. Modified Enhanced Buffer Tube: Law Tactical folding adapter compatible. All include the Ratchet Lock Castle Nut and Endplate Set.

A 1/2x28 flash suppressing compensator for .223/5.56 that reduces both muzzle flash and rise. BATFE has confirmed it is not a suppressor.

Does PWS make muzzle devices for AK and HK rifles?

Yes. FSC47 MOD 2 and JTAC47 are 14x1 LH for AK-47. FSC HK is 15x1 for HK91/G3. CQB74 is 24x1.5mm for .308 HK platforms.

What suppressors does PWS make?

BDE 22 (.22 LR), BDE 556 (5.56), BDE 9 (9mm), BDE 762 (.308/7.62), BDE 338 (.338/8.6), BDE 45 (.45). All modular and serviceable. NFA - Form 4 and $200 tax stamp required.

A straight-pull biathlon toggle bolt action for Ruger 10/22-compatible platforms in .22 LR. Available as a complete rifle or bare action with P3 extended magazine release.
