These handguards are designed for the Midlength gas operating system, to determine the length of your gas system measure from the rear of the handguard to the gas adjustment opening. if you measure 9" you have a carbine length gas system and the handguard will fit but the gas adjustment opening will not line up with the gas adjustment knob. If you measure 12" you have a Midlength gas system and the gas adjustment knob will line up with the opening.
